Bolton Community College | | | About me | | I am currently undertaking a full time Foundation Degree in Performance at the University Campus, Oldham and have just completed my first year with a Grade B in all modules. This follows on from a BTEC National Diploma Course at Bolton Community College, where I achieved a distinction merit. I am looking to undertake work in the business over the Summer break (late June - early September 2010). I am a character actor aged 55, so not really a romantic lead! Dave Egerton is my stage name - I have student membership of Equity (my 'real' name - Dave Carter - was already taken). | | | Acting experience | Stage experience has been at College and University. Our final production at Bolton Community College, to a paying audience, was 'Dark of the Moon' by Howard Richardson & William Berney - I had two major roles as Uncle Jed Smelicue and Mr Allen. Our first year final production at University, to paying audiences in Oldham and Huddersfield, has been 'Attempts on her life' by Martin Crimp - in this unconventional piece (there are no specified characters) I undertook a wide variety of roles throughout the production.
