About me
Working as assistant editor or Ultimate DVD magazine, I would regularly present a short magazine show (which was available as a DVD on the cover). This lead to appearances on The Big Breakfast and also a film review pilot - alongside TV critic Jason Solomons - which was filmed (but not ultimately used) for its follow up, Rise.It would be a chance meeting in a London pub that would prove to be the beginning of my foray into acting...
While enjoying a few drinks with a friend, I discovered that the manager of the pub (situated opposite Victoria station) was, in fact, a film-maker. A few beers later and I'd talked myself into testing for a role in his upcoming short film, KillingTime.
And that was it. From that first test (opposite professional actress Annabelle Cleare) I was smitten. In the years that have passed, I have done my best to keep that affection alive, taking part in projects as and when work or family commitments allowed.
In 2010 I began acting classes at the Milton Keynes Theatre, under Central School of Speech and Drama tutors Pethrow Gooden and Emily Pollet. This in turn lead to a love of theatre.
